Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance with Eskom Standard Conditions, no sanctions, no Tender Defaulters, no conflicts of interest.
• Technical qualifications:
  • Compliance to Welding standards (ISO 3834 Part 3) and a Qualified Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) for specified material sizes.
  • Verifiable references for duct/expansion-joint maintenance or fabrication within last 5 years.
• Quality and safety:
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.
  • Eskom OHS/SHE compliance (acknowledgement forms, COID, safety procedures).
• Local content and SDLI:
  • Local Content Declarations (Annexures C–F) and related CIDB/CPG considerations; B-BBEE status and supporting documentation.
• Contract specifics:
  • NEC3 TSC3 with 60-month service period; schedule of deviations, and pricing data in PDF and Excel.
  • Prohibition on subcontracting 100% of the scope.
• Documentation/administration:
  • Complete SBD documents (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2), Tax questionnaire, Integrity Pact, and Supplier Acknowledgements (SHE/OHS).
