Overview

Eskom Distribution seeks bids for the Provision of Major and Minor Reticulation including the installation of smart meters, re-closers and voltage regulators within Distribution GEMMA Cluster-Northern Cape on an “as and when” required basis over a period of four years. Target bidders are electrical distribution contractors/engineers with experience in reticulation, metering installation, and related HV/LV equipment deployment; appropriate safety, quality and environmental management systems should be in place (e.g., CSD registration; ISO 9001; ISO 14001) and demonstrated capability to deliver distribution-network projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrated capability in major/minor reticulation, smart-metering installation, re-closers and voltage regulators for distribution networks.
• Compliance: CSD registration; Tax clearance; Employment Equity; COID where SA requirements apply; integrity and risk management evidence.
• Quality and safety: ISO 9001 QMS; Environmental Policy (ISO 14001); SHEQ planning, baseline risk assessment; required safety documentation.
• Tender returnables: completed SBD forms; Annexures A–J as indicated in the tender data; CPA/local content declarations where applicable.
• CIDB: designation and grading as required by the tender data (noted as applicable in some Eskom T&Cs; reference attached ITT template for exact scope).
• Evidence of relevant work experience and capacity (vehicles, drivers, and insurance where required) per mandatory/technical criteria.
