Overview

The provision of security skills development training for the Drakenstein Municipality for a period up to 30 June 2030. Bidders with security training expertise, registered training providers, and experience delivering security-sector development in the public sector should consider bidding.

Requirements

• This bid is subject to the General Conditions of Contract and Special Conditions for bidding, plus relevant specifications.
• Bidders must be registered on Drakenstein Municipality’s supplier database.
• Tax status requirements per MBD 1 (Part B) must be complied with; no contract if not tax compliant at award.
• Bids must be submitted on the municipal bid documentation, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid number, placed in Tender Box 1 before closing.
• Functionality is not applicable; bidders are evaluated on eligibility criteria under the 80/20 procurement preference points system.
• Bids must remain valid for at least 120 days after bid closing.

• Submission method: Tenders must be deposited in Tender Box 1 in the Civic Centre foyer, Paarl, before closing; no late, telegraphic, telex, fax, or emailed tenders accepted.
• Documents to submit: Bids on the provided municipality bid documentation, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid number.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: Must be registered on the municipality’s supplier database; tax compliance as per MBD 1.
