THE PROVISION OF TERRAIN MOBILE CRANE AND OPERATOR SERVICES ON AN AS-AND-WHEN-REQUIRED BASIS FOR DUVHA POWER STATION FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS

Overview

Provision of Terrain Mobile Crane and Operator Services on an as-and-when-required basis for Duvha Power Station for a period of five years. Eskom invites providers with crane fleets and operator capability to bid, with OH&S, driver/operator licenses, and lifting equipment compliance as key prerequisites. Submission is via electronic tendering with a closing date of 25 November 2026 at 10:00 (valid for 180 days).

Requirements

• Eligibility and integrity: no business restrictions with Eskom/State-Owned companies, no Tender Defaulters, no conflicts of interest.

• Local content/CPD: CSD registration; CPA declarations; local content annexures if applicable.
• Technical/quality: OH&S and safety commitments; ISO 14001 environmental policy; Safety/Quality/Environmental contractual requirements.
• Functional criteria: certificates for cranes (inspection every 6 months), annual load tests, roadworthy certificates, and driver/LMO licenses (LMO renewed every 2 years).
• Contract/pricing: NEC3 Term Service Contract framework; complete pricing schedule in PDF; cataloguing requirements if applicable.
• Additional: CIDB grading not applicable for this contract; other standard Eskom contractual/returnable requirements apply.
