Overview

Procurement of a five-year NEC3 Term Service Contract to establish a Support Contract for the Eskom Telecomms Bandwidth Management Equipment (BME) install base, spares holding and Network Management System (NMC). Suitable bidders are those with telecommunications maintenance capability, BME hardware and NMC experience, and familiarity with NEC3 contracts; they should also meet Eskom’s quality, environmental, and safety standards (ISO 9001 QMS, EMS/OHS), and hold CIDB registration. This is an Open-Tender via Eskom’s eTendering portal.

Requirements

• Proven delivery/maintenance experience for Bandwidth Management Equipment and Network Management System.
• Familiarity with NEC3 Term Service Contract (TSC3) and able to operate under its terms (Option A – priced contract with price list; rates-based).
• Compliance with Eskom Supplier Quality Management requirements, ISO 9001 and QM 58 (Supplier Quality Management Specification).
• Compliance with Eskom Environmental Requirements for Contractors and/or Suppliers and Occupational Health & Safety standards (EMS, SHEQ).
• CIDB contractor registration and grading; proof required by tender closing or within 21 working days if permitted.
