Overview

SAFCOL seeks a service provider to provision terrain maintenance and gardening services at Timbadola Sawmill for three years. Eligible bidders are firms with landscaping/grounds maintenance capability, cleaning, refuse removal, and occupational/health safety compliance, including required staff, equipment, and B-BBEE considerations.

Requirements

• COIDA good standing and tax/compliance verification (PIN/TCS) and CSD registration; submit B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Public liability insurance (min R5,000,000).
• Compulsory briefing attendance; written responses on the prescribed forms.
• Demonstrated experience in gardening/cleaning; site supervisor with NQF Level 4+.
• Equipment and staffing: 1 LDV (≥700 kg), 1 garden tractor, 3 heavy-duty grass cutters; ~10 employees; labour compliance and safety training.
• Locality criterion within 100 km of Timbadola (Google Maps verification).
• Compliance with PPPFA Regulations 2022; use official bidding forms; no late submissions.
• If using subcontractors/consortium, full agreements and work splits must be provided.
