Overview

The purpose is to appoint a panel of service providers to supply and deliver spare parts for the Varian Model 200–20A2, 200 keV Ion Implanter or Equivalent. Suitable bidders are those with capability to source and supply mechanical, vacuum, lubricants, electrical and electronic components for ion implanters, and who are on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and compliant with PPPFA/BBEE requirements.

Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and maintain tax/compliance status (CSD PIN).
• Complete and submit SBD 4 (Bidder Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim) with supporting BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Provide datasheets for items offered; pricing must be firm, VAT-inclusive, and valid for a defined period; delivery lead times to be specified.
• Pricing must be in ZAR, include all costs to deliver, and account for PPPFA 80/20 (price first) with BBBEE considerations.
• Mandatory briefing session attended (23 September 2026; 11:00 at 92 Empire Road, Braamfontein) and adherence to all RFQ terms; non-compliance may lead to disqualification.

• Submission: Email RFQ to scm2@tlabs.ac.za by closing date 30 September 2026 at 11:00. Late submissions will not be accepted.
• Documents to submit (as applicable):
  • SBD 4 and SBD 6.1, with BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
  • CSD Summary Report; CSD supplier details and tax PIN status
  • Datasheets for intended items; Pricing Schedule completed (pricing for items within scope)
  • Any additional RFQ forms attached in the document; supporting supplier information
• Pre-qualification/registrations: Must be on CSD and tax compliant; provide CSD number.
