Overview

Procurement of a service provider for fence repairs at King Phalo Airport (KPA) on an ad-hoc basis for three years. Bidders should be fencing/maintenance contractors with CIDB contractor grading designation 1 SQ or higher, and be prepared to handle vegetation clearance, perimeter fence repairs, gate servicing, and related works.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation 1 SQ or higher.
• Tax and compliance: valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number; COIDA/ FEMA good standing; separate TCSPIN/CSD for consortia or subcontractors.
• Mandatory site inspection attendance; PPE at site (Original ID, safety boots, reflective vest) and nominal permit costs per person.
• Returnable documentation: complete forms on official tender documents, sign all pages, and provide required schedules (as per T1/T2 and Part C1–C4).
• Preferences: 80/20 PPPFA, with B-BBEE proof (certificate or sworn affidavit); provide evidence for specific goals (e.g., black youth/women ownership, disability ownership).
• Insurance, health and safety, and OHS compliance as per NEC3 Term Service Contract requirements.

• Documents to submit: Form of Offer and Acceptance (C1.1), Pricing/Activity Schedules (C2), Service Information (C3), Site Information (C4), Returnable Documents (T2), and supporting compliance documents (TCS/CSD, COIDA, B-BBEE). If JV, provide consolidated B-BBEE.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CIDB, CSD, Tax clearance, COIDA; ensure compliance with SARS PIN where applicable.
