Overview

The refurbishment and reinstatement of the support infrastructure for the Bravo and Charlie apron aircraft docking system at Cape Town International Airport for 18 months. This is an Airports Company South Africa RFQ (NEC3 ECC contract framework) requiring a CIDB-rated contractor to deliver airside works under a fixed-price NEC3 ECC arrangement, with a stated 18-month period (note: some contract data in the attached NEC3 document lists 6 months to completion, creating a potential scope/timeline discrepancy). Eligible bidders must meet CIDB 4 CE or 4 SL or higher.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 4 CE or 4 SL or higher. (CIDB bid document)
• Tax/compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD if no PIN; separate TCS for each JV/sub-contractor.
• Insurance: maintain insurances per Annexure C5.7 (ACSA Insurance Clauses) including SASRIA and other employer-structured cover.
• Contract form: NEC3 ECC, edition 2013; compliance with Schedule of Deviations if any; valid for the period.
• Returnable documents: Form of Offer and Acceptance, Schedule of Deviations, Pricing Schedule, and other standard returnables (C1–C4). Pricing is fixed for the contract duration.
• Safety/Health: risk and safety plans to meet Health and Safety requirements; airside/site-specific risk register and site information.
