Overview

The Road Accident Fund seeks a service provider to conduct an Occupational Hygiene Survey and Ergonomics Assessment for the RAF East London office. Target bidders: occupational hygiene consultants with SANAS accreditation, AIA registration, SAIOH credentials for the proposed resource, and COIDA good standing; must be CSD-registered and able to meet OHSA/HCA requirements.

Requirements

• Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing and compliance with OHSA 1993.
• SANAS accreditation for Occupational Hygiene Inspection at Workplaces.
• Department of Employment and Labour Approved Inspection Authority (AIA) registration for one or more of: Hazardous Chemical Agents Regulations, Noise Regulations, Lead Regulations.
• SAIOH registration for the proposed Occupational Hygienist.
• Valid calibration certificates for all monitoring equipment, traceable to SANAS labs.
• Compliance with POPIA/Data Protection and RAF security measures (Annexure A), including secure handling/transport of documents and access controls.
• Deliverables: hard and electronic Occupational Hygiene and Ergonomics reports (including IAQ, noise, illumination, ergonomics) and compliance with legal limits; competency evidence to be provided post-award.
• Specific goals under the 80/20 framework (HDI, Women, Persons with disabilities) with points claimed as per SBD 6.1.
