Overview

RAF seeks to appoint a service provider for supply and delivery of Supplementary First Aid Items at RAF Head Office. Bidders should have capability in medical/safety consumables and on-time delivery to corporate offices, be CSD registered, tax compliant, and able to deliver to Centurion.

Requirements

• Items to be supplied (quantities per RFQ specification): Instant cold compress 15cm x 23cm (38), Emergency Burncare Hydrogel sachets (3.5ml) (50), Rescue sheets (2m x 1m) (8), Deep freeze cold spray (150ml) (10), Eye pads (6cm x 8cm) (8), Box of 20 assorted plasters (40) – suitable for occupational first aid; expiry and packaging must be intact and clearly labelled. • Compliance: CSD registered; SARS tax matters declared; VAT rules apply (prices must be VAT inclusive if VAT registered); official RAF Purchase Order/Letter before goods are delivered; no collusive bidding; only one bid per legal entity.
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference system (Price 80, Specific Goals 20); Specific Goals include HDI ownership, Women ownership, and Persons living with disabilities (with required proofs: CSD report, ID copy, medical certificate).
• Documentation: Complete Annex A–F and applicable SBDs (SBD 4, SBD 6.1) as part of submission.
• Delivery/Assurance: Delivery on PO; packaging and expiry checks; delivery to RAF Head Office.

• Submission method: Email quotations to Rfq-Johannesburg.procurement@raf.co.za.
• Documents to submit: Annex A–F (including pricing in Annex E), and Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 4, SBD 6.1) as per RFQ; price must be in ZAR and VAT included if VAT registered (see Annex E).
• Pre-qualifications: CSD registration; tax clearance; RAF will deal only with CSD-registered suppliers.
• Briefing/site visit: N/A.
