Overview

The RAF seeks a service provider to deliver Security Guarding Services for the RAF Menlyn Office for a six-month period starting July 2026. Firms with PSIRA registration, COIDA compliance, and CSD registration should consider bidding, as the contract covers 24/7 guarding, postings, and related security duties at the Menlyn site.

Requirements

• Mandatory compliance (Phase 1):
• Valid COIDA letter of good standing (and nature of business for security services) submitted by closing.
• Valid PSIRA letter of good standing for the company and directors, plus a PSIRA certificate for the company.
• Proof of an office within 50 km of the RAF Menlyn Office (ownership/title, lease, or a current utility bill not older than 3 months).
• CSD registration status and proof of SARS tax compliance (RAF will only deal with CSD-registered suppliers and tax matters must be in order).
• Capacity to provide 24/7 security staffing as per the specification (6 guards on weekdays, 4 on weekends/public holidays, 4 night guards), as well as required security equipment (alarm, patrol clocks, radios, etc.) and PSIRA-compliant personnel.
• Price and evaluation criteria (80/20): price for the stated guard shifts and related services; HDI, Women, and disability-specific goals with required proof (e.g., CSD report, ID, medical certificate).
