Overview

The RAF invites quotes to supply and install integrated security systems across six RAF hospital sites (Leratong, Chris Hani Baragwanath, Bongani, Steve Biko, Rob Ferreira, and Job Shima Nkana Tabane). Suitable bidders are security systems integrators with expertise in biometrics, access control, intruder alarms, and related software, preferably with healthcare-security experience, PSIRA registration, and compliance with data-protection and COIDA requirements.

Requirements

• Mandatory qualifications:
• COIDA: valid letter of good standing (not older than 12 months)
• PSIRA: valid company certificate and letter of good standing for company and directors
• CSD registration and SARS tax compliance
• RAF will only do business with CSD-registered suppliers; tax matters must be declared
• Compliance with Protection of Personal Information Act (PIA/POPIA) and RAF security measures (see Annex A)
• Estimated 6-site delivery/installation scope: biometric access control and intruder alarm systems per spec
• Evaluation criteria: 80/20 price-to-qualifications; specific goals for HDI, Women, and Persons with disabilities with documentary proof (see SBD6.1)
