Overview

RAF seeks to appoint an experienced Media Monitoring Agency or Company to monitor, track and deliver analytical reports on the RAF’s media coverage across national, regional, provincial and community media on Print, Radio, Television, Online and Social Media for a six-month term. Bidders must be South Africa-based with in-house media monitoring capabilities, support daily data feeds, provide RAF system access, and deliver regular reports in-line with RAF’s communications needs.

Requirements

• In-house, SA-based service provider (no outsourcing). Must include an Annexure/letter confirming SA base and in-house work.
• Minimum three reference letters from clients for whom media monitoring was provided in the last five years.
• Registration/verification: CSD-registered supplier; SARS-compliant tax matters.
• Security and data protection: comply with Annexure A security measures and POPIA; robust cybersecurity, access controls, and contractor oversight for any sub-contractors.
• Deliverables: daily feeds (3x per day), secure web-based access for 5 RAF staff, weekly/monthly/quarterly six-month final report, ad hoc reports, and outputs in Word/Excel/PDF.
• Evaluation: 80/20 pricing with specific goals; provide proof for HDI, Women, and Persons with Disabilities against the specified points.
• Additional: adhere to RAF terms, preferred supplier checks (CSD verification), and no collusive practices.
