Overview

Appointment of Registered Credit Bureau Services for SASSA Income Testing for a period of five years. SASSA seeks NCR-registered credit bureau providers with API-based real-time income/credit verification and batch verification capabilities, to support SASSA’s income testing across channels, with strict compliance to NCR, POPIA and related regulations, and to deliver reporting, UI access, and risk, continuity, and integration safeguards.

Requirements

• NCR registration (Section 43, National Credit Act) and proof with bid (MANDATORY). (ToR)
• Tax and supplier registrations: SARS Tax Compliance PIN, CSD registration, consent for verification. (SBD1, SBD4)
• Minimum four years’ relevant experience and verifiable references; consent for client verification. (ToR)
• Compliance with NCR data standards, POPIA, NPR/NCA obligations; security screening and secrecy undertaking. (ToR)
• Capability to deliver both Real-Time API Verifications and Bi-annual Batch Processing, plus UI, reports, and risk/continuity plans. (ToR)
• Mandatory SASSA contract conditions: security clearance, signing of confidentiality and service contracts. (ToR)
• Evaluation requires demonstration of API, UI, integration, and a 70/100 functionality threshold. (ToR)
