Overview

The South African State Theatre invites quotations for the service and repairs of musical backline equipment for a period of three years. The scope covers professional-stage gear including drum kits, bass amps, keyboards, stands, guitar amps, mics, mixing consoles, digital stage boxes, DI boxes, and mic stands. Bidders must have proven capability in servicing/repairing musical instruments and related gear and offer collection/delivery with replacement parts quoted for approval.

Requirements

• Proven track record in service/repair of musical instruments or similar services.
• Mandatory compliance documents (submit with bid): SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; POPIA Consent form; GCC (signed on all pages); CSD report; B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; SARS Tax PIN; Certified share certificate; CIPC company registration; IDs for all directors.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or CSD registration; bids from certain entities excluded as specified.
• Preference points: 80/20 system with up to 20 specific-goal points (e.g., Black Ownership, Female Ownership, Black Youth Ownership, those with Disabilities), subject to documentary proof.
• Pricing to be evaluated as part of total bid; delivery costs included in the quotation.

• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD (Central Supplier Database) registration; SARS PIN; B-BBEE documentation; CIPC company registration.
• Briefing session: N/A.
• How to obtain bid documents: RFQ response documents and forms are to be submitted to RFQ@statetheatre.co.za (see attached SBD forms in the RFQ PDFs). Delivery address for goods/services is 320 Pretorius Street, Pretoria 0001.
• Pricing/Invoice: Services invoiced per completed service request; includes collection/delivery; replacement parts quoted for approval prior to repair; all replaced items must be listed with part numbers and warranty.
