Overview

Supply and delivery of 25 MPa/19mm ready-mix concrete for Orange Vaal – Bucklands Canal Rehabilitation Project, Construction West, Northern Cape, for four months. Bidders should be ready to supply ready-mix concrete to the specified grade, with cement manufacturer arrangements, NRCS/standards compliance, and capacity to deliver in the Northern Cape within a 4‑month window.

Requirements

• Eligible bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax compliant, with SARS proof.
• Concrete mix design from the manufacturer/supplier must be included with the bid (25 MPa/19 mm, water-cement ratio 0.38–0.68; slump to be agreed later).
• Documentation confirming supply arrangements from the cement manufacturer (NRCS Letter of Authority for compliant cement) and a dated supply confirmation letter if not the manufacturer (Annexures A–C).
• Local production/content: 100% local cement content threshold; complete Annexure C with DTI Annex and related local-content documentation.
• Compliance with GCC and PPPFA: 80/20 scoring, SBD forms (SBD 1, 3.1, 4, 6.1) and preferential schedule (Annexures H–I); evidence of CIDB, COID, and tax status as applicable.
• Active COID registration or equivalent and proof of good standing; authority to sign bid (Annexure M); financial statements or credit arrangements as required (Annexures B–E).
• Returnable documents (Annexures A–S) must be completed and submitted as part of a single tender document (as per T2.1/T2.2).
