THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF OPERATIONAL SPARES AND ACCESSORIES AT TUGELA VAAL AREA OFFICE

Overview

The supply and delivery of operational spares and accessories for Tugela Vaal Area Office, including safety gear, hand tools, electrical components and related maintenance equipment. Bidders should be suppliers of hardware, electrical and maintenance spares capable of meeting item specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

• Complete and submit on official forms (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) and fully price the SBD 3.1 pricing schedule.
• Demonstrate tax compliance (SARS PIN) verified via CSD; provide a CSD number if no TCS; provide active registration with CIPC/CIPRO; provide signatory authorization/resolution; JV documentation if applicable.
• Submit local content declarations per Annex C (designated steel products with 100% local content) and Annex D for imported content; provide certificates as required.
• Delivery and contract conditions: deliver to site within 7 days of order; all-inclusive pricing; acceptance on delivery; provide an inspection certificate and comply with GCC/PPPFA (80/20) evaluation and preference points; provide performance security within 30 days of award.
• Additional: manufacturer’s supply confirmation within 14 days of bid approval; complete Bidder’s Disclosure (SBD 4) and disclose conflicts of interest.

• Bid documents are obtainable free from the Department of Water and Sanitation at the address shown; documents may be collected from 15 October 2026 or downloaded.
• Submissions must be deposited in the Bid Box at Security Building, No1 Kiepersol Avenue, Jagersrust, Bergville 3350, by 11:00 on 30 October 2026.
• Include: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 3.1 Pricing Schedule, pricing for items 1–40, tax/compliance documents, SARS/CSD PIN, CIPC registration, proof of signatory authority, and any BBBEE/JV documentation; annexes for local/import content.
• Note: Bids are evaluated per PPPFA 80/20 with specific goals; provide evidence to claim points.
