Overview

The contract is for the supply and delivery of an orbital shaker and a laboratory fridge to the Department of Water and Sanitation. Bidders should be laboratory-equipment suppliers with the capacity to source or manufacture such equipment and to meet procurement/compliance requirements (SARS tax compliance PIN or CSD registration; BBBEE considerations). The bid requires on delivery a COO and at least 2 ISO/IEC 17025 SANAS-accredited letters for similar services (see Bid Document WQ-33100.pdf).

Requirements

• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN and/or CSD number and a valid tax clearance.
• BBBEE: provide BBBEE status level certificate or sworn affidavit.
• ISO/IEC 17025: provide at least 2 SANAS-accredited letters for the same service.
• COO on delivery (Certificate of Origin) as part of the delivery.
• Use of official bid forms: complete SBD3.1 Pricing Schedule, SBD4 Bidder’s Disclosure, SBD6.1 Preference Points; contract form SBD7 if awarded (see Bid Document WQ-33100.pdf).
• Authority to sign: provide proof (e.g., company resolution).
• Compliance with anti-corruption/PSA rules and not in the state’s service.
