Overview

The Eskom NTCSA invites bids for the supply and delivery of overhead line labels and signage for Lines & Servitude at Central Grid. Suitable bidders include electrical infrastructure labeling manufacturers/installers with experience in tower labels, line designation and crossing labels, phasing labels, safety signage, and stainless-steel strapping; must comply with Eskom Wires Equipment Labels standards and local-content requirements, and be capable of delivering on an as-needed basis over ~12 months. Requirements

• Compliance with Eskom Wires Equipment Labels standard (240-75660336 Rev 2) and related annexes; includes tower, designation, crossing, phasing, LV/MV labels, and substrate/color requirements (Annex A–T references).
• Returnables at tender closing (non- and disqualifiable as noted): Basic Compliance (PDF), Authorisation Form (Annexure A), Acknowledgement (Annexure B), Tenderer’s Particulars (Annexure C), Integrity Declaration (Annexure D), Local Content Declarations (Annexures E–G), SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2, SBD 4, Tax Clearance, CIDB (if applicable), JV documents (if applicable), e-tendering manuals (attached).
• Local content and designation: 100% local content for designated components such as steel; SBD 6.2 Local Content Declaration required (Annexure G1 with Summary Schedule and supporting annexes G2–G4).
• Price adjustment: CPA requirements apply for contracts longer than 12 months (Annexure E); for durations ≤12 months, submit fixed price.
• CIDB: CIDB grading requirements appear not applicable for this contract (N/A in the tender data), but confirm if scope changes.
• SBDs and governance: adhere to SBD 1 (Invitation to Bid), SBD 4 (Bidder Disclosure), SBD 6.1/6.2 (PPPFA and Local Content); integrity, conflict-of-interest declarations, and employment equity considerations apply.
