The Supply and Delivery of Personal Protective Equipment to the PPECBClosed

Overview

The PPECB seeks bids for the supply and delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for its staff, including freezer jackets, white lab coats and reflective vests, under a 3-year contract with a 2-year renewal option. Bidders should be clothing/textile suppliers capable of nationwide delivery and domestic SA manufacturing, with pricing aligned to the Annexure C pricing schedule.

Requirements

• Register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and include the Master Registration Number in SBD1 to verify tax status, company registration, banking details, directors and shareholders.
• Provide evidence of authority to sign; disclose Joint Ventures/consortiums with lead partner and performance guarantees.
• Ensure compliance with technical and legal requirements: SANS 342/EN 342, DoH Regulation R638, OHSA Act 85 of 1993; HACCP, and applicable high-visibility and lab-coat standards (as detailed in the Terms of Reference).
• Include pricing via the specified schedule (Annexure C.xlsx), noting that prices include VAT and exclude delivery; final items/quantities will be determined during the contract.
• Deliver according to Special Logistics & Packaging Clauses: regional office deliveries and individual packaging requirements; maintain confidentiality and data protection during bidding.

• Submission deadline: 06 October 2026 at 11:00. Submissions are via physical tender box at PPECB Head Office and an electronic copy stored in Microsoft OneDrive.
• Documents to submit: Pricing Schedule (ANNEXURE-C.xlsx) plus detailed technical proposal; SBD1 form with CSD Master Registration Number; proof of signatory authority; any JV/consortium agreements; references as required.
