Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of SCM stock (operating supplies) to Water and Sanitation’s Midmar Dam Stores. Bidders should be capable of warehousing and distributing a broad range of operating consumables (chemicals, cleaning products, plumbing, electrical fittings, general hardware) as detailed in the bid documents.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; provide CSD number (MAAA) on SBD1.
• SARS tax compliance; provide Tax Clearance PIN and/or CSD verification.
• Active registration with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) with supporting certificate.
• Valid BBBEE status level verification certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Authority to sign bids (letter of appointment or board resolution).
• Complete and submit returnable documents: SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4, SBD6.1, Annexure C; CK certificate; original tax clearance; CSD reports; shareholder IDs; JV documents if applicable.
• GCC compliance: adherence to General Conditions of Contract; provide performance security within 30 days if awarded.
• Price validity: quotations valid for 120 days.
• Local content declarations for designated products (per SATS 1286: complete Annex C/D/E); designated products in this tender include wire products/valves with 100% specified local content.
