THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF STEEL X-ARMS IN THE GAUTENG CLUSTER ON AN AS AND WHEN REQUIRED BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF 60 MONTHS

Overview

The Eskom Distribution invites bids for the supply and delivery of Steel X-Arms in the Gauteng Cluster on an as-and-when-required basis for a period of 60 months. Proposals are sought from capable steel fabrication and hardware suppliers with quality, SHEQ and contract-compliance capabilities to deliver galvanised crossarms and related components for Eskom’s distribution network.

Requirements

• Eligibility: bidders must meet Eskom’s Tender Data criteria, not be restricted from doing business with Eskom/SOEs, must not be listed on sanctions or tender defaulters lists, and must not submit more than one tender unless the E-tendering rules allow.
• Compliance: adhere to Eskom Standard Conditions of Tender; ensure no 100% sub-contracting; avoid conflicts of interest; comply with applicable local-content and procurement rules.
• Certifications/standards: ISO 9001 quality management; SHEQ and environmental requirements; compliance with technical evaluation criteria and related annexes (Technical/SHEQ requirements and environmental criteria span several attached documents).
• Documentation: submit required SBD forms (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.2) and other annexures; provide NEC3 contract data/related pricing schedules; include NDA and SDS/SHEQ documents as applicable.
• Briefing: non-mandatory clarification session on 28 October 2026 via Microsoft Teams.
• Submission: electronic submission via Eskom E-tendering; PDF documents up to 500 MB per file; no hard copy submissions.
• Other: TEAP inclusion for eligible products; local-content declarations and CPA requirements where applicable; price adjustments and contract terms per NEC3 framework.
