HES-TECH 06/2627: THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TOOLS, TESTERS AND MEASURING EQUIPMENT ON AN AS AND WHEN REQUIRED BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS.

Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of tools, testers and measuring equipment on an as and when required basis for a period of three years. Open-tender for bidders in hardware/tools and testing equipment supply; must be CSD-registered and meet documentation requirements (valid tax clearance, BBBEE certificate, certified copies of directors’ and owners’ identities).

Requirements

• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and comply with documentation requirements.
• Valid tax clearance certificate and BBBEE certificate.
• Certified copies of directors’ and owners’ identities.
• Ability to purchase tender documents (non-refundable R200) and complete the original tender document.
• Fully completed original tender document submitted in a sealed envelope to the tender box by 12:00 on closing date.
• Late bids or bids submitted by e-mail or fax will not be accepted.
• Questions may be asked until 10 days before closing; responses will be shared with purchasers or attendees of any compulsory clarification (if applicable).
• Tender evaluation: 80 points for price, 10 for BBBEE, 10 for locality (PPFA Act 2000, 2022 Regulations, and municipal policy).
• Clarification meeting (if applicable) details to be provided in the tender documents.

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents for R200 per set from Leanne Windvogel (028-713-8087, leanne@hessequa.gov.za) or request electronically (HES-TECH 06/2627). Include payment details to Hessequa Municipality bank account.
• Prepare: original tender document, tax clearance, BBBEE certificate, certified IDs; pricing per Pricing Schedule.
• Submit: place the fully completed tender document in a sealed envelope, endorsed with the tender number, title and closing date, and deposit in the tender box at Absa Building, Riversdale (Ground Floor) by 12:00 on 27 November 2026. No email/fax submissions accepted.
• If needed, attend or arrange a compulsory clarification meeting (if applicable); questions may be directed to Leanne or Earl Swart.
