Overview

The Supply and Delivery of various Vehicle Accessories (including: canopies, single ridder ladders, front roll bars, toolboxes, tow bars and link stick holder) for a period of 36 months on “an as and when required” basis within Gauteng Cluster. Eskom Distribution invites bids from suppliers capable of manufacturing/supplying vehicle accessories and related components (canopy builders, ladder racks, fittings) who can meet Eskom’s safety and quality standards, including ISO 9001-based QMS and the Eskom Vehicle Safety Specification (32-345). Qualified bidders should be able to service Eskom’s Gauteng cluster on an as-needed basis and comply with the contract's governance and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• ISO 9001-based Supplier Quality Management System and required Quality Plans (QCP/ITP) per 240-105658000 and related documents.
• Compliance with Eskom Vehicle Safety Specification 32-345 for relevant vehicle accessories and equipment.
• Local content and preferential procurement requirements (SBD 6.2; CPA where applicable).
• Submit complete bid documents: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1/6.2, Pricing Schedule/BOQ, Annexures A–J, and e-tendering documentation.
• Contract framework: NEC3 SC3; award per line item to 1–3 suppliers; cataloguing/labeling of delivered items post-award.
• Clarification/information requirements: non-compulsory clarification meeting; integrity pact; tax evaluation where applicable.

How to Apply

• Deadline (per ITT): 14 September 2026 at 10:00 (closing); questions/clarifications due 5 working days before closing.
• Submission method: electronic submission via Eskom E-tendering site (etendering.eskom.co.za).
• Documents to submit: SBDs (1, 4, 6.1/6.2), Pricing Schedule/BOQ, Annexures A–J, and supporting documentation (QMS evidence, safety specs, local-content declarations). PDFs should be uploaded (max 500 MB per document; total limit 4 GB); pricing list can be in PDF and/or Excel.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: comply with Eskom’s e-tendering process; adhere to Supplier Integrity Pact and local-content declarations; CIDB-related requirements may apply as per Annexures.
