Overview

The supply, delivery and offloading of refuse bags for the period ending 30 June 2029. Open to suppliers of refuse bags who can meet GCC/SCC requirements, ensure tax/VAT compliance, provide BBBEE evidence, and be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with locality considerations (Stellenbosch area).

Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or certificate (or equivalent); where applicable, complete the pre-award SARS questionnaire.
• VAT: if contract value exceeds R1,000,000, be VAT registered; show VAT on invoices and price in tender inclusive of VAT.
• BBBEE: submit BBBEE status level certificate or sworn affidavit to claim locality/priority points.
• Locality: preference points awarded for supplier locality within the Stellenbosch municipal area.
• Attendance: compulsory clarification briefing on 10 June 2026 at 11:00 at Beltana Depot (non-attendance renders tender non-compliant).
• Submission: tenders must be on official forms, sealed, and deposited in the Stellenbosch tender box before 12:00 on closing date; electronic or late submissions are not accepted.
