Overview

The supply of a 6m storage container for the CSIR. CSIR invites quotations (RFQ 6781/05/11/2026) for delivery of a used 6m shipping container converted into a shelving unit, including internal/external painting, steel doors, electrical installation, LED lighting and 14 sections of five-tier galvanised shelving, with transport to the University of Pretoria (Engineering 4.0 building, Koedoespoort). Bidders should have steel fabrication/conversion capabilities and related installation experience. Submissions are electronic via the CSIR Electronic Bid Submission Portal (EBSP); bidders must be registered on EBSP and meet CSIR pre-qualification and tax/CSD requirements (including CSD registration or SARS Tax Compliance). Requirements

• Evaluation: 80/20 preference points (price 80, specific goals 20); elimination criteria apply (e.g., non-submission via EBSP, non-compliance, or failure to meet specs).
