Overview

The RFQ is for the supply of background screening services for a 12-month period. Quotation documents are for service providers registered on the Central Supplier Database and eThekwini Supplier Portal, capable of professional vetting, fingerprint capture, and AFIS access (including outsourcing arrangements), with SA and international verification capability.

Requirements

• Administrative and compliance readiness:
• Latest CSD registration in good standing; SARS tax clearance or PIN; MBD forms 1, 4, 6.1, 8, 9; offer on company letterhead; proof of AFIS license access. (Main Tender Document: ld-891.pdf)
• Technical and service qualifications:
• Professionally authorized vetting agent; platform access or approved outsourcing; no middleman; ability to verify qualifications, driver licenses, credit, employment/history; uShaka will capture fingerprints on the supplier’s platform; AFIS license access required.
• Evaluation criteria:
• Full compliance with admin/mandatory requirements, price (80/20 or similar preference framework), and specific goals-based points.
