Overview

Procurement is for the upgrade of the control room at 60 Bredastreet, Paarl. Drakenstein Municipality invites bids (PSLE 03/2026) from contractors with experience in control-room upgrades, electrical and ICT/system integration works, and the ability to meet GCC, special bidding conditions, and municipal procurement requirements.

Requirements

• General Contract Conditions (GCC) and special bidding conditions; relevant specifications
• Bidders must be registered on Drakenstein Municipality’s supplier database
• Tax status compliant per MBD 1 (Part B)
• Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid number
• Functionality requirement: minimum of 75% to progress to evaluation
• Procurement preference: 80/20 (PPP)
• Bid validity: minimum of 120 days after closing
• Successful bidder must complete and sign a written contract
