Overview

The upgrading of Zolani Sportsgrounds High Mast Lighting. Bidders with CIDB 3EP+ (Potentially Emerging 2EP PE may be considered at the Municipality’s discretion) and experience in sportsfield lighting/electrical works should consider bidding.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation of 3EP or higher; PE 2EP PE may be considered at the Municipality’s discretion.
• Minimum functional assessment score of 70 points.
• Compliance with Standard Conditions of Tender, CIDB Uniformity Standard, BBBEE, and the Langeberg SCM Policy.
• Tender evaluated on an 80/20 Preference Point System; Municipality not obliged to accept the lowest or any tender.

• Submission deadline: 04 September 2026 at 12:00 (sealed tenders).
• Submission method: deposit in the Tender Box at the entrance of the Municipal Offices, 28 Main Road, Ashton (envelope clearly endorsed with “Tender No. 31/2026: THE UPGRADING OF ZOLANI SPORTSGROUNDS HIGH MAST LIGHTING”).
