Overview

Procurement of maintenance, calibration and support for 107 Flir E8 Pro thermal scanners (handheld and desktop) to be used at Border Management Authority ports of entry, with per-port calibration/repair work and ongoing servicing. Bidders should be ISO/IEC 17025 accredited, able to provide at least 3 recent client references, and capable of delivering under South African procurement rules (tax/compliance, BBBEE, local content preferences).

Requirements

• 107 scanners to service (98 handheld, 9 desktop); per-Port quantities and issues listed in Annexure A. Serial numbers to be provided to the successful bidder.
• ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation (attach certificate/letter).
• Demonstrated track record in thermal scanner maintenance/calibration with at least 3 client letters dated within 5 years.
• Services include software upgrades to latest version, inspection, calibration, maintenance, and replacement of damaged parts as needed.
• Compliance with SBD forms: SBD1, SBD3, SBD4, SBD6.1; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; Tax compliance PIN and SARS processes (TCS) or CSD number if applicable.
• Lead times to be stated; all prices firm and VAT inclusive; delivery to 67 Koranna Avenue, Centurion.
• Professional Indemnity insurance of at least R160 million (as required by contract).
• Adherence to GCC and SCC, including penalties for delays and rights to audit.
