THREE- YEAR FRAMEWORK CONTRACT FOR SUPPLY OF DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS (LOCAL MANUFACTURERS)

Overview

Three-year framework contract for the supply of distribution transformers (local manufacturers) to Kenya Power & Lighting Company (KPLC). Bidders should be manufacturers capable of supplying distribution transformers for Kenya's power network, with relevant certifications and local manufacturing capacity.

Requirements

• Valid Tax Compliance Certificate and PIN; company registration; Confidential Business Questionnaire; Certificate of Confirmation of Directors and Shareholding; Manufacturer's Authorization where applicable; and capacity documentation (Audited Financial Statements or equivalent).
• Quality and testing: Type Test Reports; ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation; ISO 9001 and KEBS Diamond Mark/Standardization Mark.
• Evidence of prior supply to public utilities (references, completion certificates and related purchase orders).
• Tender security and warranties: Tender Security; Guaranteed Lead Time (GLT); Manufacturer's warranty.
• Declarations of deviations and eligibility as required in the tender docs.
