REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR THE LEASING OF CARGO SHED AND GOODS PLATFORM SITUATED AT QUAY 4 IN THE PORT OF MOSSEL BAY FOR A PERIOD OF TEN (10) YEARS.

Overview

Leasing of the Cargo Shed and Goods Platform at Quay 4, Port of Mossel Bay, for ten years. Bidders should be port/logistics real estate operators with capacity to refurbish and maintain a vacant storage facility, comply with SA tax and company requirements, and meet Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and B-BBEE/tax documentation.

Requirements

Registered on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) or, if foreign, comply with SA tax/local incorporation.
Tax compliance status (SARS PIN) or CSD registration; separate TCS/PIN for each JV/consortium party.
If bidding as a Joint Venture/consortium, provide a signed JV agreement or letter of intent with clear % split.
Returnable documents: tax compliance status, B-BBEE documentation, and other statutory requirements; SBD1 form.
Ability to inspect the property prior to submission and to undertake necessary refurbishments/upgrades; align with lease terms.
Compliance with environment, safety, and port-specific requirements; adherence to the Draft Lease Agreement and related annexures.
