To appoint a bidder to conduct Screening, Verifications, and Reference Checks for four (4) years. The CMS seeks an experienced provider to perform employment background screening and verification checks on an as‑needed basis, including fingerprint-based criminal checks, education and qualification verifications, right‑to‑work checks, and related due diligence for CMS staff, contractors, and executives, with fixed pricing over a four‑year term and strict data‑protection compliance.

Requirements

• Three reference letters (within the last five years; from at least two different clients; on official letterhead with authorised signatures and contact details).
• Proof of professional registration/membership with PBSA/NAPBS and/or SAFPS for staff handling the account (valid in last 12 months).
• Proof of ownership of the verification system or OEM rights to use the verification tool, with start/expiry dates.
• Compliance documents: SARS Tax Compliance PIN, CSD number, and complete SBD1, SBD4, and SBD6.1; tax compliance for all parties in joint ventures.
• Data protection and confidentiality measures and ability to deliver timely final verification reports.
