Overview

RFQ to supply and deliver hatchery chemicals to the Aquaculture Technology Demonstration Centre, Gariep Dam, Free State for the Marine Living Resources Fund (MLRF)/Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE). Bidders should be capable hatchery chemical suppliers with delivery capacity to Gariep Dam, be registered on the Central Supplier Database, and compliant with tax requirements and PPPFA preferences. It’s a two-part bid (technical and pricing) with a 60-day delivery window post-Purchase Order and a 60-day bid validity; submission closes 24 August 2026 (11:00). Briefing is not applicable. Requirements

• Prepare two-part bid: technical bid and pricing bid; complete and sign all standard documents (SBD 3.1 pricing schedule; SBD 4; SBD 6.1; related SBDs as applicable) (see rfq0001267.26.27_hatcherychemicals.pdf).
• Register and compliance: Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; Tax Clearance or Tax Compliance Status Pin; VAT registration if applicable; CK1 entity certificate; Identity documents for directors/shareholders; Letter of Authority; Oracle ERP registration within 7 days of PO.
• Documentation: Submit on official forms; include tax clearance or CSD MA supplier number; no hand-delivered RFQ responses accepted. (see rfq0001267.26.27_hatcherychemicals.pdf)
• Conditions: No upfront payments; payment within 30 days of valid invoice; delivery within 60 days of PO; GCC/SCC apply; bid may be negotiated; bidder must not be in the State’s service. Itemised requirements are in Annexure A. (see Annexure A)
