Overview

Procurement of two divers and one certified supervisor to retrieve and reinstall Intake Cage 1 at the Marine Research Aquarium, Seapoint, for one working day. Bidders should be service providers with underwater diving capabilities, intertidal-zone operations experience, and the ability to perform cleaning, jet-blasting and reassembly as specified.

Requirements

• Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and have orderly tax matters; proof may be required.
• Submit standard bidding documents: SBD1, SBD2, SBD3.1/3.3, SBD4, SBD6.1; include Tax Clearance or Tax Compliance Status/ CSD/MAAAC supplier number.
• Provide CK1 (entity registration), Letter of Authority, and certified copies of directors’/owners’ IDs; include proof of VAT registration if applicable.
• Complete and sign GCC/SCC terms; applicable SBD forms must be attached to bid.
• Price must be VAT-inclusive; bid validity for 60 days; delivery/occupation within 60 days after PO.
• Note: bids from persons in the Service of the State are excluded; must not contravene PFMA/PPPFA rules.
• Evaluation uses 80/20 or 90/10 preference (price vs specific goals) with Specific Goals points (e.g., 51% black ownership 8 points, 50% women ownership 4, youth 4, disability 4, others 0).
