Overview

Supply and install Electrical equipment at Kimberley Mail Centre, including replacement of fluorescent light fittings, tubes, switches and bulbs. Open to electrical contractors with CIDB minimum grade 1GB and 1 EB (or CRS number) who meet SAPO’s compliance requirements (tax, CIDB, COIDA, CSD, BBBEE) and can deliver at Kimberley, Market Square / Knight St.

Requirements

• CIDB minimum grade 1GB & 1 EB (or CRS number active on closing date)
• CIDB certificate verification via CIDB website
• COIDA registration or equivalent proof
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration or provide a valid CSD number
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or evidence of CSD status; provide TCS if applicable
• SBD1, SBD4, Confidentiality Agreement, Certificate of Acquaintance with Bid Documents
• BBBEE documentation for specific goals (SANAS certificate or sworn affidavit or DTI BBBEE certificate)
• Compulsory site briefing and site visit (16 Jul 2026)

• Pre-qualifications: CIDB 1GB & 1 EB (or CRS number); COIDA; CSD; BBBEE; tax compliance
• Briefing site: Mandatory briefing 16 Jul 2026, 11:00 at Market Square (briefing venue); Compulsory site visit 16 Jul 2026, 11:00 at Knight Street, Kimberley (RFQ)
• Pricing: Complete the Pricing Schedule/Bill of Quantities in ANNEXURE F1 (66 fittings, 100 tubes, 3 pull switches, 1 wall switch, 5 bulbs, 5 bulb fittings) and quote in ZAR (ANNEXURE F1)
