To provide Trend Micro Services for the South African Post Office

Overview

To renew and support Trend Micro licences and related security systems for SAPO for a 12-month period. The contract covers Trend Micro Smart Protection Complete (endpoint, email and internet security) and TippingPoint IPS licences, maintenance and OEM support, for the period 1 March 2027 to 29 February 2028. Suitable bidders are authorised Trend Micro/TrendAI partners with proven enterprise-scale renewal experience (≥1,000 users), and with certified engineers.

Requirements

• Authorized Trend Micro and TrendAI partner in good standing for ≥5 of the past 7 years; supplier must provide OEM confirmation.
• Experience renewing enterprise security licences and providing support for environments ≥1,000 users; include at least two client reference letters; Annexure BR.
• At least two engineers Trend Micro/TrendAI certified with ≥2 years’ experience in the past four years; provide Annexure PR and certification evidence.
• Standard Support and Call Logging Procedure, with defined priorities, response times, escalation paths to OEM, and SAPO reporting of call status.
• Compliance documents: SBD1, SBD4, Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, Certificate of Acquaintance with Bid Documents, CSD/MAAA registration, and SARS Tax Compliance PIN (or alternative under the rules).
• Pricing schedule for Tables A–C in ZAR, inclusive of VAT, valid for 12 months; activation by 1 March 2027; renewal terms and OEM involvement clarified.
