Overview

This RFQ seeks Board Secretariat services to support the Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal board for a 10-month term, with an option to extend to 12 months. Bidders should have governance/secretariat expertise, preferably with public-entity experience, and meet professional registration and pre-qualification requirements (TOR for Secretatry Services.pdf).

Requirements

• Phase 1: Mandatory professional registration; the team leader must be registered with the Chartered Secretaries South Africa (CS(SA)) (TOR for Secretatry Services.pdf).
• Phase 2: SCM/admin requirements — proof of CSD/SARS PIN, completed SBD 4, SBD 1, POPIA consent, and SBD6.1; include CSD/MAAA details.
• Phase 3: Functionality criteria — demonstrated experience in company secretarial/governance, reference letters, a detailed methodology, and Key Personnel with a Team Leader of at least 8 years’ relevant experience and professional body registration.
• Phase 4: Price and Specific Goals — pricing per PPPFA 2022; 80/20 or 90/10 preference (as applicable); submit SBD6.1; demonstrate B-BBEE coordination and specific goals (ownership, location in KZN).
• Note: Bidders must meet all mandatory criteria to progress.
