Overview

Procurement of a SANAS-accredited B-BBEE Verification Agency (Level One EME) to conduct a 12-month B-BBEE verification for Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal (1 Apr 2025–31 Mar 2026). The RFQ (RFQ202627-42) seeks an experienced agency to produce verification certificates, assist with B-BBEE Commission reporting, and strengthen B-BBEE implementation at TIKZN.

Requirements

• SANAS accreditation as a B-BBEE Verification Agency (Level One EME) is mandatory.
• Administrative/compliance: registration on CSD or SARS PIN; complete SBD4, SBD1, POPIA consent, and SBD6.1; provide tax/compliance proofs.
• Capability: detailed proposal with company profile, project team CVs, five client reference letters, work plan, and full budget with costings.
• Methodology and deliverables: inception report within 1 week of appointment; data collection and verification for 2025/2026 period; B-BBEE report, scorecards, certificates; final close-out report; quarterly updates to the B-BBEE Committee.
• Evaluation: minimum 70% on functionality; price (80 points) and specific goals (20 points) to follow PPPFA 2022; provide proof for specific goals (RDP, gender ownership, Black ownership).
