Overview

Provision of Training + Exam for CompTIA CySA+ Cybersecurity Analyst certification, including delivery of training, assessments and certification examination. Stellenbosch Municipality invites bids from qualified training providers to deliver a 5-day, face-to-face CySA+ training program in the Cape Town area for small cohorts (3-5 learners), including pre-assessments, assessments, portfolio support, QA verification, and issuance of certificates and results. Bidders should have accredited QA/quality assurance body, qualified facilitators (minimum 2 years), and be able to provide references. The contract runs to June 2027 with an 80/20 evaluation (price vs. preferences) and BBBEE/locality considerations; document reference: FQ/SM 90/27.

Requirements

• Accredited training provider with QA accreditation; submit facilitator form (minimum 2 years experience) and at least one reference.
• Complete MBD documents (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9); provide BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; ensure CSD/TCS compliance; provide locality proof if claiming points.
• Deliverables include: 5 consecutive days of training, face-to-face in the Cape Town area; cohorts of 3-5 learners; learning resources, equipment, and hard-copy certificates; exit report and results; QA verification with relevant body.
• Compliance: GCC; pricing inclusive of VAT; bid validity 90 days; pricing on MBD3.1; priority to local supplier.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 22 October 2026 at 14:00; submit in a sealed envelope to Stellenbosch Municipality bid box (Plein Street) with quotation number and description on the outside; late or non-conforming bids will be rejected.
• Documents to obtain/submit: official bid documents from the Supply Chain Management Unit or website; non-refundable bid document fee of R50; complete and attach MBD forms and all supporting documentation; ensure 90-day bid validity.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration; SARS tax compliance PIN/TCS; if foreign, complete Part B3; include local premises proof for locality claims; facilitator credentials and QA accreditation evidence.
• Briefing/site meetings: attendance where applicable; evaluations will be in line with 80/20 rules and Stellenbosch procurement policies.
