Overview

Provision of R programming training services for Statistics South Africa (Stats SA). The RFQ seeks a service provider to deliver R programming training (see attached Specification for R Programming.pdf), with training materials, possible on-site or remote delivery, and assessment components. Bidders should have proven experience in statistical data analysis and R programming, and be able to meet Stats SA’s procurement requirements (SBD4, CSD, tax clearance).

Requirements

• SBD4 Bidder’s Disclosure (Standard Bidding Document SBD 4) (attached as Standard Bidding Document (SDB) 4_Annexure A.doc..doc)
• e-filing copy of valid Tax Clearance certificate and tax compliance PIN
• Certified copy of ID document and original/certified company registration (CIPC)
• CSD Master registration number (MAAA) and evidence of tax clearance
• Supplier must be registered on Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Declaration of Interest (SBD 4) completed and returned
• If claiming Specific Goals points: provide proof for Race (Black), Women, Disabled, and Youth (ID copies, CSD/ownership evidence; disability requires HPCSA certificate)
• Quotes on company letterhead; include VAT number if VAT registered
• Prices must be valid for the duration of the order; payment terms are 30 days
• Appointment not necessarily the lowest quote; Stats SA reserves the right not to award

• Submission deadline: 13 July 2026, 16:00; email quotations to quotations@statssa.gov.za (RFQ)

  • Quotation with reference number, validity, delivery period, CSD PIN
  • Completed SBD4
  • e-filing Tax Clearance copy
  • Certified ID and original/certified CIPC registration
• Pre-qualifications: CSD registration and tax clearance compliance
• Briefing/session details: not specified in the RFQ document (metadata lists an address for briefing)
