Overview

Procurement of design, supply, repairs, modification, installation, testing and commissioning of traction substations (3 kV DC) and distribution substations (11 kV and 6.6 kV AC) on an as-and-when-required basis for a 24-month period in the Central & Container Corridors. Bidders should be electrical engineering and contracting firms with experience in railway electrification, high-voltage substations, and on-call maintenance across multi-site projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in design, supply, repairs, modification, installation, testing and commissioning of traction substations (3 kV DC) and HV distribution substations (11 kV / 6.6 kV AC), preferably in rail/critical infrastructure.
• Capacity to mobilize for on-call, multi-site work within the Central & Container Corridors over 24 months, with strong safety, project management and commissioning capabilities.
• Compliance with safety and rail-environment standards; proven ability to work in controlled rail environments.
• Pre-qualifications such as CIDB grade for electrical works, tax clearance, and CSD registration (where applicable per tender requirements).
