Overview

Turnkey eradication of pit latrines at Gabangemfundo Primary, Sigweje High, and Siphimfundo Secondary Schools in Uthukela District, KwaZulu-Natal; a CIDB Grade 5GB+ construction project issued by the Independent Development Trust. Requirements

• CIDB registration: Grade 5GB+ active; JV allowed with combined 5GB+ designation.
• Compliance docs: CSD full report, consolidated CSD for JV, valid Tax Clearance (PIN), CIPC certificates, IDs for all members.
• Mandatory: COIDA certificate; attendance at compulsory site briefing (original certificate).
• Forms: Inv. to Bid (SBD 1), Bidder’s Disclosure (SBD 4), Preference Points (SBD 6.1); Form of Offer; Certificate of Authority; JV agreement if applicable.
• Qualifications: CVs and original certified qualifications for PM (PrCPM/PrCM SACPCMP), QS (SACQSP), Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Eng (ECSA), OHS Manager (SACPCMP).
• Insurance: Public liability cover (R5M+); Professional Indemnity (R5M+).
• Technical/financial: Bills of Quantities with 15% VAT; adherence to 15% VAT; 8-month contract duration (2 weeks design, 6 months construction, 4 weeks defects, 2 weeks documentation).
