Overview

Upgrade and maintenance of the Municipality’s Data Centre for a period of three (03) years (Re-advert). King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality invites accredited IT/data-centre service providers to bid for upgrade and ongoing maintenance of the Data Centre, under SCM: 002/2025/26. The advert indicates an open-tender process with general PPPFA requirements and 80/20 evaluation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data centre upgrades and maintenance, including related IT infrastructure and security.
• Compliance with standard tender documentation: MBD 1–9, Annexures A–F, and the pricing schedule.
• If applicable to a JV, provide the JV agreement and ensure all partners submit required documents.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); latest municipal rates statement; lease agreement if occupying leased premises; tax clearance as applicable.
• CIDB: grading noted as N/A for this tenders line; for values above thresholds, MBD5 may be required and a three-year track record may be requested.
