Overview

Upgrade and rehabilitation works to the Eikendal Market, Kraai​fontein, including the provision and installation of a new structural steel canopy, and associated ancillary infrastructure works. This is a construction tender targeted at contractors with CIDB grading 6GB or higher. Bidders should be registered on the City of Cape Town Supplier Databases and capable of meeting SCM/HDI/RDP procurement goals.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation of 6GB or higher.
• Registration on City of Cape Town Supplier Databases (if not already registered, register upon request).
• Compliance with Preferential Procurement Regulations and the SCM Policy, including HDI/RDP goals.
• Tender submission in a sealed envelope via Tender Box 229, with required documents (including Form of Offer and Acceptance); telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail, and late tenders not accepted.
• Non-refundable tender fee of R300 on collection of documents.
• Clarification meeting (non-mandatory but strongly recommended): 12:00, 9 July 2026, via Microsoft Teams.
