Overview

Upgrade HMI simulator at Matla Power Station for a period of two (02) years. Eskom invites bids to upgrade and integrate the HMI simulator at Matla PS, including software/hardware updates, testing and ongoing support over a 2-year period. Suitable bidders are providers with HMI/SCADA, control-systems integration, software/hardware deployment, and Eskom procurement/compliance capabilities. Key qualifications include Eskom SHE compliance, CIDB registration (as applicable), and the ability to complete the required tender documentation and declarations.

Requirements

• Compliance with Eskom SHE rules and safety acts (OHSA, MHSA where applicable, NEMA).
• Integrity and ethical conduct: complete Annexure A Integrity Declaration and adhere to the Eskom Supplier Integrity Pact; NDA obligations apply.
• Eligibility: meet Tender Data criteria (no sanctions, not on tender defaulters or Eskom restrictions; not sub-contract 100% of scope).
• CIDB requirements: CIDB grade/CPG/CSDG applicability as per contract scope.
• Local content and CPA: complete CPA Annexures E/F and Local Content declarations G1–G4 when designated materials apply.
• Documentation: submit SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2 and all Annexures A–F, plus Pricing Schedule/BOQ (PDF and Excel).
• Submissions: electronic via Eskom E-tendering; PDFs (max 500 MB per document) and a combined 4 GB limit; pricing in PDF and Excel.
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB registration, tax clearance, and completion of the PAYE/ supplier evaluation requirements where applicable.
