UPGRADES AND ADDITIONS TO EXISTING OFFICES (COMPLETION SCOPE): VYRHEID SERVICE OFFICE IN VRYHEID, ZULULAND DISTRICT, KWAZULUNATAL PROVINCE – TENDER NUMBER: DSD06KZNR075

Overview

Upgrades and additions to existing offices (completion scope) for the Vyrheid Service Office in Vryheid, Zululand District, KwaZulu-Natal, are being tendered by the Independent Development Trust for building works requiring CIDB Grade 7GB or higher. Tenderers should be capable building contractors with CIDB 7GB+, registered on the CSD, a valid Tax Clearance with PIN, and able to meet mandatory and subcontracting requirements (including 30% to designated groups).

Requirements

• CIDB active registration: Grade 7 GB or higher
• CSD registration proof
• Completion of SBD 1, 4, 6.1 in full
• Copy of valid Tax Clearance with Tax Compliance PIN
• Proof of tender document purchase
• Consolidated CSD for Joint Venture parties and Joint Venture Agreement signed (where applicable)
• Valid COIDA/Good Standing from DOL/RMA/FEM
• Completion of Form of Offer and Bill of Quantities in full
• Sub-contract at least 30% of construction works to designated groups (Women, Youth, People with Disabilities, Black People)
• Copy of Joint Venture Agreement (if applicable) with apportionment
• Active Public Liability Insurance cover of at least R10m
• Attendance and signing of compulsory site briefing certificate
• CVs and qualifications for SACPCMP-registered Project/Construction Manager and Health and Safety Officer
• Compliance with Contract Skills Development Goal (CSDG)
• Tender documents to be completed in black ink; corrections initialled; sign where required
• Disqualifications for Directors on the Register of Defaulters or current/state employment
• Functionality threshold of 70% (Stage 1); 80/20 pricing with specific-goal points (6 for Women, 6 for Youth, 4 for PWD, 4 for Black)
• Bid validity: 120 days
