Overview

Procurement of upgrading and refurbishment of Building 1342 at Morgenzon Plantation. This SAFCOL construction RFQ requires a CIDB 1GB+ contractor with NEC4 Engineering and Construction Short Contract readiness to undertake floor, wall, ceiling, plumbing and related refurbishment works at Morgenzon, near Graskop. The project duration is about 12 weeks; closing date is 5 October 2026 (RFQ 803/33/2026).

Requirements

• CIDB registration: 1GB or higher
• COID/COIDA: valid Letter of Good Standing
• Tax clearance and CSD registration (or provide MAACA number)
• B-BBEE: SANAS-accredited certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE
• Returnable documents: RFQ fully completed on company letterhead, SBD forms, NEC4 ECC Short Contract acknowledgement
• Local/targeted procurement: adherence to local content and enterprise development goals; detailed in the RFQ
• Experience: minimum two completion certificates or reference letters for similar works
• Financial capacity: bank statement (≤1 month old) or proof of funding
• Equipment proof: NATIS documents or lease agreements for on-site equipment
• Environmental/health-safety obligations and subcontracting controls as per NEC4 and SAFCOL conditions
• Submitting by email; no delivery before official PO; prices inclusive of VAT; price validity 60 days

• Timelines: RFQ closing on 05 October 2026; responses remain valid for 60 days.
