Overview

Upgrading and Refurbishment of Building 6747 at Blyde Plantation. SAFCOL invites bids from construction/ refurbishment contractors with capability in building works, to execute the project near Graskop (Blyde Plantation). Bidders should have CIDB at least 1GB, be able to work under NEC4 Engineering and Construction Short Contract (ECSC4), and meet standard compliance (tax, BBBEE, CSD, COID/COIDA).

Requirements

• CIDB Registration: 1GB or higher
• Tax/compliance: SARS tax clearance; COIDA/Letter of Good Standing
• Pre-qualifications: CSD registration; BBBEE verification (SANAS-accredited) or EME/QSE sworn affidavit
• Documentation: Complete SBD forms; company on letterhead; NEC4 ECSC4 contract (and Schedule of Deviations)
• Joint ventures: Consolidated BEE certificate required
• Evaluation framework: 80/20 (Price 80; Specific Goals 20); specific goal: 51%+ Black Owned entities
• Site/contract specifics: NEC4 contract data governs the agreement; site is in the Blyde Plantation area; site meeting not required (as per metadata)
